That is the official blurb used by pretty much all the English speaking stores that were originally selling off the Angel XX toyline. [Small sampling here : 1 , 2 , 3, 4] It’s printed on the actual Angel XX packaging as well. I completely derped and forgot about it/its implications this whole time.
So there you have it, Tabris XX is not actually a genderflipped Kaworu, but his genetically modified daughter instead. (Apparently NERV needed to busy themselves while waiting for the JSSDF invasion in End of EVangelion)
